Mixology 101: Gin + Lemon
Get your mix on! Makeshift X Tipperary Bar introduce a whole new kind of workshop!
Mixology 101 is an introduction into the world of cocktail mixing, with a focus on two bar basics, Gin + Lemon. Make your own simple syrup infusions, enjoy delicious specialty cocktails, learn how to stock a perfect bar, and try your hand at mixing up your own signature drink! We'll have you sippin', and zesting, and feeling fine in no time!
Set in our private studio space, complete with a fun party atmosphere and delicious local snacks - bring a friend, or two, your mother, sister, or partner for a fun evening out! Tickets include 2-hours of hands-on instruction, three speciality cocktails to sip on, all materials to make your own infused simple syrups to take home, and supplies to create your own signature cocktail!
Not a Gin fan? No worries, we've all had a Tanqueray-fueled moment of regret (no, just me?). Mixology, much like a chef's tasting event, is about keeping an open mind and trusting the experts! With bottles for all budgets, (yes, even the top shelf!), we'll teach you when to hit 'em high, and when to go low, low, low. Plus, there WILL be gin puns!
Head home with your custom (and adorable!) simple syrups, some delicious new cocktail recipes, and the skills to impress your friends and family - just in time for patio season!
Also included? A new found appreciation for the finer things in life!
Please note: Workshop includes 3 cocktails. Please plan ahead for a safe ride home - carpool with friends, have someone awesome drop you off, or be ready to call a cab.
