Got some change lying around in your couch?
Well if you take that change and use it to buy a winning lottery ticket, you might be able to afford a tour of the most expensive house in America.
The $250 million home, located at 924 Bel Air Rd. in Los Angeles, will go on the market this week.
“My mission started five years ago to create the most extraordinary, exciting and dramatic contemporary estate ever built in the most beautiful place in the United States,” explained billionaire developer, Bruce Makowsky. “The budget was there is no budget.”
The house comes with a number of fine art pieces, luxury cars and other expensive toys that are all included in the sale price, which is part of the reason why it’s so expensive.
The property took four years and over 300 workers to build, but Makowsky calls it “the crown jewel of his career.”
“The house succeeds in transcending the bounds of the typical home and dually functioning as a multi-sensory, all-powerful experience for all who enter it.”
While it’s out of 99.9999% of the world’s price range (only 3,000 people in the world can afford it), it’s still a sight to see for anyone who appreciates luxury.
