“After a thorough and careful review of the allegations, the Company and Bill O’Reilly have agreed that Bill O’Reilly will not be returning to the Fox News Channel,” read the statement from 21st Century Fox.
The decision to part ways with the host of Fox News’s largest show, the O’Reilly Factor, came following a report from the New York Times that O'Reilly and 21st Century Fox had reached settlements totaling $13 million with five women who had accused him of sexual harassment. O'Reilly denied the allegations.
O’Reilly was the host of the O’Reilly Factor since 1996 and worked there for just over 20 years.
On top of hosting the O'Reilly Factor, O'Reilly has also authored over a dozen books and was the host of a talk radio program as The Radio Factor.,
