Rabbit nests can easily be hidden in your very own backyard, and a viral video from Ontario Wildlife Removal Inc. shows just how to spot such a nest, which is hopefully full of adorable bunnies.
The informative video has been viewed an astonishing 3.1 million times since it was first shared May 27th, 2017.
“In this particular instance the homeowner working for, brought to our attention that he saw the dry grass-patch on his front lawn had moved,” says wildlife officer Jared Houliston in the video.
“We knew right away that the patch of dried grass was a baby rabbits’ nest, so we decided it was the perfect time to educate our client, and the public on what to do if you find a baby rabbits’ nest on your front lawn.”
While according to the BC SPCA "urban" wild rabbit's nests are pretty rare in the Interior, it is good to know how to react when discovering one.
