It's Canada's signature cocktail, a common beverage, a combination of vodka or gin, Clamato, Worcestershire sauce and maybe some spice for kick. But, what once started as a simple and savory beverage has turned into a game of trump between creators, a trendy wave of evolution.
The new and improved beverages are sometimes just as much a meal as they are a perfect sip on the patio. You can find but a few of these improved beverages in Kamloops and in celebration of National Caesar Day we’ve scouted out a few.
McCracken Station Pub
McCracken Station Pub claims its Sidecar Caesar is the most talked about in town. Loaded with all the fixins, this is one place in Kamloops that takes the classic drink recipe and kicks it up a notch. With add-ons like a tasty slider and pepperoni, this one could take the cake for the best Caesar in town — you be the judge!
Carlos O'Bryans
We all love options, especially when it comes to indulging. In celebration of this most special occasion, Carlos has a few Caesars on the menu and the choice to build your own. If you like variety, this place has you covered! A classic option is always on the table for the traditionalists, but they’re also serving up the Lemon Pepper Ceasar, Pickled Caesar, Gin Caesar and the Western Caesar. What more could you ask for?
Noble Pig
The Noble Pig is obviously famous for its beer, but there’s not many better places to be than Caesar Sunday at the Pig. Patio drinks anyone? It might only be Thursday, but a great Caesar is good any day of the week, especially when it’s sourced locally.
