There are heroes, and then there’s David Eubank.
Video has surfaced online of an incredible, daring rescue by U.S. aid worker, David Eubank, amidst heavy gunfire in ISIS territory.
Eubank, a former U.S. Special Forces soldier, is seen sprinting into open fire in the video, while two American soldiers cover him with rifle fire.
You see Eubank disappear while the two soldiers continue to return fire, before Eubank reappears with a child in his hands no more than 10 seconds later.
“He came across a group of civilians who had been gunned down by an ISIS sniper,” explains the Tom Alex, who posted the video on Twitter. “Saw (the) girl moving among the bodies.”

The video was shot in war torn Mosul, a major city in Iraq, and it’s not hard to see the impact of war in the short video.
The gunshots are relentless and you can see a number of dead bodies lying in the street, but this is nothing new for Eubank.
According to the Washington Post, the former Green Beret has moved his wife and three kids, aged 11, 14 and 16, to Iraq to do anything they can to help.
Curiously he moved his entire family there https://t.co/j92vFFn5hP

While Eubank is doing heroic things like you see in the video, his wife and kids are assisting at medic stations and giving supplies to fleeing Iraqis.
One thing is for sure, even if this is the first time Eubank has been caught on video, there’s no doubt that he’s doing these kinds of heroic acts on a regular basis.
