A handful of fighters are featured in the new SickKids ad campaign. They’re not wrestles or MMA fighters, instead, they’re fighters against cancer, kidney disease, cystic fibrosis and other deadly diseases.
The theme of the video is that sick doesn’t mean weak. Children are fighting against their worst enemy every single day, yet they just keep fighting.
A young boy with a prosthetic leg and arm is featured as SickKid VS Kidney Failure. He is seen smashed a piece of medical equipment and then the next clip is an actual fighter smashing the same piece of equipment.
The video goes on like this, kids fighting their sickness and real fighters standing beside them as they do.
The two-minute video is empowering, tear-jerking and also extremely heart breaking.

Money donated to FundtheFight will go towards making children feel like children, not mini adults, while at SickKids hospital.
