Moose devours Canada 150 display

It doesn't get any more Canadian than this when gearing up for July 1st and the wildlife come out to protest.

While many organizations across Canada are gearing up for the Canada 150 celebrations, one moose seemed to be strongly opposed.

Last week, the MUN Botanical Garden in Newfoundland had just put the finishing touches on its red and white tulip maple leaf design for Canada's 150 celebration, when a moose completely destroyed the display.

A very unimpressed crew of landscapers posed for a photo with some of the odds and ends that the moose chose to leave behind, while chomping most of the flower heads off the tulips.

Based on what was left over, it looks as though the bulbs weren't his favourite part - too earthy perhaps.

I guess we won't know if he decided to share later or simply 'moosed out' on his own.
