The windstorm that rocked B.C. on Tuesday night reached Alberta and parts of Saskatchewan on Wednesday.
Like in B.C., the storm followed up a hot and dry day where temperatures got up towards 30°C in many places.

Wind speeds reached 100 km/h in many cities, including Edmonton (107 km/h) and Saskatoon (105 km/h).
The heavy winds left things damaged and misplaced across the two provinces and people have taken to social media to share the impact.
Trees were ripped down, sheds were torn off the ground, semi-trailers were flipped and trampolines were sent into power lines.
Some cities even saw snow as temperatures dropped significantly.
So far, no injuries deaths have been reported.
