The 44th President of the United States is saying goodbye to the people he served for the past eight years.
On Friday morning, President Barack Obama sent his final tweets as @POTUS before he hands the account off to president-elect Donald Trump.
I'm still asking you to believe - not in my ability to bring about change, but in yours. I believe in change because I believe in you.

I won't stop; I'll be right there with you as a citizen, inspired by your voices of truth and justice, good humor, and love.

Barack and Michelle also made a video on their Obama Foundation website, where they discussed their next steps.
After taking a well-deserved break, they will work on giving back through a new Presidential Centre in the city of Chicago.
Even though they won’t be in the White House, it doesn’t seem like the Obamas will be slowing down too much.
This week, White House staffers also took the time to say goodbye, both to Obama and the public.
