John Fogerty lifted the roof of the Interior Savings Centre Saturday night as his 1969 tour made its stop in Kamloops.
Fogerty entertained the packed arena with Creedence Clearwater Revival favourites and reminisced about the year 1969 when the band released three albums and entered the peak of their success.

Fogerty told stories of performing at Woodstock and releasing three top ten albums, and four hit singles in 1969.
The 70-year-old was joined on stage Saturday by his son, Shane Fogerty, who plays in his own ban Hearty Har.
Fogerty also brought his 22-guitar collection and recounted the stories of how each guitar inspired various Creedence Clearwater Revival hits, including a guitar shaped like a baseball bat for Centerfield.

Fogerty also played his newest song, Mystic Highway, which he released in 2013.
The band played for over two hours without a break, and crowds stayed on their feet nearly the entire time dancing, cheering, and singing along.
