Whip out your finest kilt (or any green shirt, really) because Friday is St. Patrick’s Day. Here’s where to celebrate the luck of the Irish with some green beer:
Carlos O’Bryans will host a full day of merriment, with doors opening at 11 a.m. Happy hour is 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. and the pub is expected to reach capacity shortly after 4 p.m. Entry will be first come, first served and no cover charge.
Bailey’s Pub is hosting a St Paddy’s Day Party with an Irish inspired menu, green beer, jello shots, swag, Guinness and a live DJ. Kicks of at 7 p.m.
Kamloops Pride’s St. Patrick’s Day Dance is at the Kamloops Legion from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. Tickets are $15 at the door and $10 for TRU students with a valid student ID.
On the Rocks will have green beer, drink specials and live music by The Mularkeys. Tickets are $5 in advance or $10 at the door. Show starts at 9 p.m.
Frick ‘n Frack Taphouse is celebrating with live music from folk band Lost in the Woods and a DJ spinning Celtic favorites. No cover charge and music starts at 7 p.m.
Shark Club is putting an Irish spin on Southside Fridays with a St. Patrick’s Day Party featuring Edmonton’s DJ Echo and drink specials.
The Club at Sun Peaks will have celtic tunes until the wee hours, with doors opening at 8 p.m. and no cover until 11 p.m.
CJ’s Night Club is going green with a neon glow party and music by DJ Freddy Z. Doors open at 10 p.m., with free glow kits and free cover before 11 p.m.
