The Freudian Slips Improvised Comedy Troupe will be sticking around for monthly perfomances this summer after a successful second season that saw half the shows completely sell out.
Presented by Chimera Theatre, the troupe’s summer set will feature a mix of familiar faces and new members. The improvised shows are fast-paced and funny with a mix of wit, physical comedy and outrageous situations.
Every performance has a different theme and audience participation is definitely encouraged. The troupe has three shows coming up: June 17th is ‘90s Party Improv, July 13th is Beach Party Improv and August 17th is Birthday Party Improv.
All shows are at the Stage House Theatre at 422 Tranquille Rd. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. and shows start at 8 p.m. Tickets are $15 at the door and online. Shows are appropriate for those aged 16 and up.
The troupe is directed by Jessica Buchanan and Brittany McCarthy and will feature a new cast including Brooke Ballam, Brendan Law, Taylor James McCallum, and Paul Rancourt. Andrew G. Cooper will host each show.
Early bird prices for Western Canada Theatre’s 2017/2018 season end June 17th. The upcoming season is inspired by the stories of the people of Canada.
