The United States military are planning to build a Tactical Assault Light Operator Suit, or TALOS, and the idea seems to have been ripped off from the Iron Man movies.
Multiple prototypes are expected to be revealed and tested in June and according to a report by Defense Tech, Navy Admiral William McRaven three prototypes are currently being put together. If everything goes as planned the TALOS could become operational by 2018.

According to RT the suit is being designed primarily with defense in mind and will likely include liquid armor and a synthetic substance being developed at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. The liquid armor sounds like something straight out a movie as it would change from a liquid state to a solid within milliseconds and could essentially make the suit bullet proof.
Just like in the fictional Iron Man movies the suit could be capable of motoring the user’s health vitals and other information like the supply of air, heat, and oxygen.

The new technology if successful could enhance the operator’s awareness on the battlefield and give the United States a huge competitive advantage.
