A group of passionate Kamloops bird lovers have joined forces to make a live "Osprey-Cam", a reality yet again this year for anyone around the world to enjoy.
The cam project is the result of a collaborative effort between many community partners who had a common goal to provide a chance for locals to watch the life of the Osprey
While locals can enjoy these birds on location at the Tranquille Farm, this webcam allows them to watch the birds up close any time of day.
WildsafeBC Organizer Frank Ritcey suggested that in recent years the popularity of the cam has grown significantly.
"These types of cameras are great in that they give the public a chance to observe wildlife without endangering either the birds or the viewer," said Ritcey.
Tranquille Farm Fresh Co-Owner Tim McLeod said "this will connect people of all ages across Kamloops and beyond to the amazing natural environment of Tranquille on the Lake.”
If you would like to see the birds in person, then you'll be able to watch them at a reasonable distance when you go to Tranquille Farms Fresh.
The cam is located in front of the historic barns at Tranquielle On the Lake and can be seen online here.
