Housing Starts in Kamloops Increased Slightly in August

Kamloops housing starts information has been released for the month of August.

While the amount of year-to-date housing starts are lower, the month of August saw a slight increase in starts in our city.

Compared to 2014, the total amount of housing starts has lowered from 286 to 275 in 2015. The numbers include information on single and multiple starts.

In Kamloops, single family starts jumped from 156 to 186 in 2015 while the amount of multiple family units fell from 130 in 2014 to 89 this year.
