Airport Runway Improvements Completed on Time and on Budget

The Kamloops Airport saw more traffic in the month September.

New numbers show, compared to last year monthly travellers have increased by just over six per cent, which accounts for just over 1,500 people. To date, the airport has experienced a 2.5 per cent increase.

The airport runway has also been completed. With the help of Transport Canada, 6,000 feet of runway has been reconstructed, on time and on budget.

The project also met all design requirements and was completed with no impact on incoming and outgoing flights.
