The Kamloops Airport continues to see an increase in travellers this year when compared to 2015.
There were 31,090 travellers in February – a nine per cent increase from the same time last year.
The numbers are also consistent with January’s numbers, 31, 323, which saw an increase of 10.3 per cent to the same time in 2015.
“As it has for the past winter months, the low Canadian dollar combined with excellent winter conditions is bringing travellers from across Canada, the United States and other international locations as well,” Kamloops Airport Managing Director Fred Legace said.
There have been 62,323 travellers so far this year at the Kamloops Airport.
