UPDATE: The men have been found safe.
An RCMP helicopter was dispatched on Monday morning to locate three men stranded near Lac La Jeune.
Just before 8 a.m. on Monday morning, Kamloops Rural RCMP received a call phone three men who had spent the night in their truck after it got stuck in the mud on Sunday night.
The three men had been off-roading near Lac La Jeune on Sunday before the truck got stuck. The men were unable to get the truck out on Sunday evening and called RCMP after attempting again on Monday morning.
AIR 4 was dispatched on Monday morning and were able to locate the three men about four miles from Lac La Jeune. The helicopter was unable to land due to the terrain but were able to give their location to Search and Rescue crews.
Search and Rescue crews are currently attempting to reach the men by ATV and snow machines.
The men do not appear to have any injuries and are in an area with cell phone coverage.
