Singh Street soccer fields reopens, others remain closed

Several soccer fields in Kamloops remain closed due to heavy rainfall and use over the weekend.

On Tuesday, City of Kamloops closed the soccer fields on Singh Street, West Highlands Park and MacArthur Island.

After an inspection of the condition of the fields, the city has reopened the Singh Street soccer fields while the others will remain closed until further notice.

The closure is necessary to ensure public safety and to protect the turf from further damage.

The city will provide updates on the soccer fields as necessary.
