Organized crime group identified in Kamloops

Kamloops RCMP have confirmed an organized crime group originating in the Lower Mainland is operating in Kamloops.

Police said members of "The Wolfpack" have established a faction in Kamloops, bringing illicit drugs, firearms and violence with them.

Through on-going investigations and search warrants, Kamloops RCMP were able to link gang activity in Kamloops to a man in Surrey.

With the assistance of the Combine Forces Special Enforcement Unit – British Columbia (CFSEU-BC) and the Emergency Response Team (ERT), Kamloops RCMP executed a search warrant on a Surrey residence on May 28.

Police found various illicit drugs inside the home, including several hundred manufactured pills — Oxycodone and what appears to be Fentanyl — four ounces of cocaine and seven pounds of marijuana. Police also discovered a long rifle and about $25,000.
