Suspect still at large after Papa John's robbery

Kamloops RCMP are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a male suspect who robbed the Papa John’s Pizza on Highway 5A.

On March 18th, at approximately 1 pm, a male entered Papa John’s and asked the clerk to make change for a $20 bill.

When the clerk advised him that it was not the store’s policy to make change, the suspect showed the clerk a knife, grabbed money from the register.

He then fled the store, heading south on foot.

The suspect is described as being 35-40 years old, 6’3” tall with an average build and a beard.

He was wearing a black sweater with the hood pulled over his head, a dark-coloured baseball cap and jeans.
