A daring hiker found himself in a dangerous situation yesterday while hiking in the Cinnamon Ridge area of Kamloops Saturday, March 25th.

The stranded hiker was rescued by an RCMP helicopter after falling 40 feet off a ridge according to Kamloops Search and Rescue.
The man was then transported to Royal Inland Hospital but sustained only minor injuries.

Kamloops Search and Rescue are reminding to plan ahead and properly prepare with equipment as well as supplies while hiking in advanced areas.
