The list includes the likes of Tulum in Mexico, Old Havana in Cuba and Niagra Falls. However, it’s no particular order, so we can’t actually claim Kamloops came in ahead of the Riviera Maya.
The travel site touted Peterson Creek and the Kamloops Wine Trail as highlights among its explanation for including Kamloops, praising the “scenic trails that offer views of rolling hills and well-tread dirt paths.”
Bridal Veil Falls is included as a local favorite and Harper’s Trail, Monte Creek Ranch and Privato got a shoutout as spots at which to enjoy local reds and whites amongst the vines.
Several other B.C. destinations — Haida Gwaii, Penticton, Revelstoke, Lillooet, Tofino and Osoyoos — were also featured.
