Put away your umbrella because summer may finally be on the way. After a small chance of showers tonight, it’s expected to get sunny and hot in Kamloops and stay that way well into next week.
Environment Canada says Saturday will see a mix of sun and cloud with a high of 24 degrees followed by a sunny, clear Sunday with a high of 28.
Holiday Monday will also bring summer-like heat, with another high of 28 and the mercury reaching a high of 30 on Tuesday. The sunshine will stick around but temperatures will drop slightly, back to highs of 28, on Wednesday and Thursday.
