The Thompson-Nicola Regional District is keeping Resiliency Centres open for one more week in Kamloops and Merritt.
The centres provide information about disaster financial programs and offer clean-up kits to flood-impacted residents of the Regional District.
The TNRD Resiliency Centre will be open at the Coast Kamloops Hotel and Convention
Centre, 1250 Rogers Way, on Monday, May 22, and Wednesday, May 24, from 2 until 6 p.m.
Representatives from the TNRD and the Canadian Red Cross will be on hand to provide information and offer assistance.
The TNRD-Lower Nicola Indian Band Resiliency Centre will be open at the Merritt Civic Centre, 1950 Mamette Ave., Tuesday, May 23, and Thursday, May 25, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
Representatives from the TNRD, the Lower Nicola Indian Band, the Canadian Red Cross, and the Disaster Financial Assistance Program and will be on hand to provide information and assistance.
