(UPDATE: June 16 @ 2:50 pm) - Councillor Kathy Sinclair confirmed that City Council would be reconvening shortly following an earlier "medical emergency."
(Original Story: June 16 @ 2:40 pm) - Kamloops City Council met this afternoon when a scary situation occurred less than an hour into the meeting.
Shortly after 2 pm, City Council's live feed cut to black. Councillor Mike O'Reilly confirmed staff were dealing with a medical emergency.
Just one ambulance responded to City Hall, located at 7 Victoria Street West.
At this point, it is unknown who suffered the medical issue or their condition. Councillor Sadie Hunter mentioned council would not be reconvening, though that could be subject to change.
