BC Coroner's Service investigating after body found in Vernon backyard

An investigation is underway after a man was found dead in a Vernon backyard.

North Okanagan RCMP were called to the residence on Cameo Drive at approximately 7 a.m. on Saturday.

At the scene, they found a deceased, 32-year-old male in the backyard.

RCMP conducted a rigorous investigation and determined his death does not appear to be suspicious in nature.

The investigation is now being handled by the B.C. Coroner’s Service.

The man’s identity is not being released at this time.
