Residents of Spences Bridge have an opportunity to correct any mistakes that may have been made as part of a Parcel Tax in the community.
Each property owner within the Spences Bridge Community Water Service Area must pay an annual parcel tax to pay the cost of recent water service upgrades.
As part of legislation, the Thompson-Nicola Regional District board of directors has appointed a parcel tax review panel to authenticate the parcel tax roll used to identify property owners within the service area.
The panel will receive any objections and correct any error or omission to a name or address, the inclusion of a parcel, or any exemption that has been improperly allowed or disallowed.
The tax roll will be available for inspection from Monday, October 19th until Thursday, November 5th.
Any objections must be made in writing to the TNRD Director of Finance by 9 a.m. on Tuesday, November 3rd.
