After two armed robberies over the weekend in Prince George, police are asking the public for help in finding the suspects.
Around 9:30 p.m. on Friday, March 4th, Prince George RCMP received a call of an armed robbery at a retail store on the 4100 block of 15th Ave.
A man had entered the business, showed a weapon and demanded cash, lottery tickets and tobacco products. The man fled the scene before police were called.
The suspect is described as a Caucasian man in his late 20’s. He is approximately five foot five inches and weighs 150 lbs. He was wearing a black ski mask, blue jeans and a dark jacket.
Another armed robbery took place on Sunday, March 6th at approximately 11:30 p.m, this time at a retail store on the 3600 block of Austin Road W.
After entering the business, a man and a woman demanded cash, lottery tickets, and tobacco products. The suspects made away with the items and fled the scene before police were called.
The man is described as South Asian or First Nations with a muscular build. He is between five foot eight inches and five foot 11 inches tall, and was wearing grey jeans, black jacket, dark shoes a black balaclava mask and a red bandana.
The woman is described as Caucasian with bright blue eyes. She was wearing yoga pants with a pink waistband, black jacket, and a black balaclava mask.
No one was injured in either of the robberies.
Investigators have not ruled at the possibility that the two robberies are connected.
