UPDATE: RCMP confirms that Gregory McGlashan has been located safe and sound. The Elk Valley RCMP thanks the public for their assistance in finding him.

The Elk Valley RCMP needs help in locating a missing resident who was last seen more than a week ago.
According to RCMP, Gregory McGlashan, aged 64, was reported missing around 8 p.m. on April 11. He has not been seen since leaving his home in Elkford on April 3. His last known whereabouts was in Cranbrook when his vehicle was spotted purchasing gas at the Van Horne Fast Gas on April 4.
His direction of travel is unknown and family are concerned for his wellbeing. According to police, McGlashan has not been in contact with anyone since April 3. McGlashan is driving a red 1990 GMC Suburban with license plate BC3 23B. The vehicle is very noticeable given the year and condition and the vibrant red colour.
McGlashan is described as Caucasian, 6’1” tall and 230 lbs. He has brown hair, a moustache, and hazel coloured eyes. Anyone with information about McGlashan’s whereabouts is asked to contact their local police detachment or the Elk Valley RCMP detachment at 250-425-6233.
