One man is dead following a collision on the Trans-Canada highway.
Cst. Spencer Lainchbury with Golden/Field RCMP said that RCMP officers are on the scene of the accident and has confirmed that one person has been killed.

DriveBC said Highway 1 is now open after it was closed 30 kilometres west of Golden because of the accident.
A collision reconstructionist is on the scene and will be conducting an investigation to see what caused the accident.
