Highway 99 shut down due to washout, slide

A washout and slide has closed highway 99 until further notice.

The highway will be closed 15 kilometre north of Lillooet, from Fountain Valley Road through to Pavilion-Clinton Road.

There is a detour available via Highway 1 or Highway 12.
