Live it Now: Do More of That

Hello, friends!

Hope the first month of 2019 is finding you well and settled into a routine that promotes YOUR goals and aspirations.

I chat with so many people from all walks of life on a daily basis. Many of whom echo a similar conundrum… as ‘we are one’ after all.

We all feel pain, joy, sadness, gratitude, confusion, peacefulness, anger, love, grief… We all get disillusioned from time to time, how do we rekindle that inspiration to stay on track, keep chasing that dream, or reviving our wellness goals? It’s super easy to get caught up in the everyday shenanigans of life… work, eat, sleep, school, lack of sleep, bills, relationships, even planning the next holiday.

Being present is sometimes just plain ‘boring’, but isn’t that a gift in itself? I’m aiming to simplify and minimize clutter in all areas of my world; home, mind, heart, closet, bookshelf…the list is quite tiresome if I look at it too long. So baby steps.

For me, however, I am inspired by others every day. They may not even realize they do that for me.

They keep my proverbial fire lit and stoked regularly.

Their stories of never giving up, through the toughest crap in their lives, their triumphs that they brush off as insignificant really rock my heart to beat faster with bursts of glorious inspiration.

It isn’t about dismissing your own struggles it’s about the gentle reminder that you are not alone! Whether we realize it or not, we carry each other, support each other every time we share our amazing moments and the not so amazing.

We all have those ‘Eeyores’ in our lives who spew negativity more than we want. Finding ways to listen quietly and with a breath of kindness blow the unnecessary jargon away from your heart.

A woman the other day said she is learning to tell a friend who tends to take up a ton of ‘space’ that her emotional cup is too full right now, can we chat another day.

I love that! I suck at it, but I love it.

The wellness journey needs lots of stoking too… rekindle your inspiration, watch a great documentary about human perseverance, or a book you know gives you the jolt you need to truly love it all again.

It’s all a daily practice. We know eating healthy foods makes us feel better… do more of that! We know exercise transforms our body… do more of that!

We know meditation/prayer eases our pain and confusion… do more of that!

We know sharing positivity is contagious… do more of that! We know that ‘earthing’ (look that up) makes up feel more alive… do more of that!

We know community makes us feel connected… do more of that!

Live it from the truest essence of who you are and you will THRIVE! It’s your life.. it’s waiting… live it now!
