The Eagles announce a tour that includes a stop in B.C.

The Eagles have announced their first tour since the death of Glenn Frey.

The band will be playing 12 shows across North America between March 14th and July 28th, which includes a show at Rogers Arena in Vancouver on Thursday, May 10th.

Remaining band members Don Henley, Joe Walsh and Timothy B. Schmit will be joined by Vince Gill and Glenn Frey’s son Deacon for the tour.

Over the course of the tour, the Eagles will be sharing the bill with Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reefer Band, James Taylor & His All-Star Band and Chris Stapleton.

For the Vancouver show and four others, however, it will simply be an ‘Evening with the Eagles’.

Tickets for the Vancouver show go on sale on Saturday, December 2nd at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster.

The Eagles have sold more than 120 million albums worldwide over the course of their existence.

They’ve scored six #1 records, won six Grammy awards and have had five singles reach #1 as well.

They were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1998.
