Did someone say food?
We all want to know where to find it — the best tacos, the new ice cream parlour, the tastiest cheeseburger, the newest menu or the best bang-for-your-buck charcuterie board. We want to know where to grab a late-night meal or an affordable latte on the way to work.
Some of us also want to know what is a reasonable price for cauliflower and how to use all the herbs growing on our windowsill because, no, we don’t have a green thumb or a cookbook.
Whether your pantry is full or empty, KamloopsBCNow is bringing to the table a new biweekly column that will both satisfy your cravings and leave you hungry for more because, if we know one thing to be true, it’s how much we all love food.
Originally from the nation’s capital, Katherine Gummeson of The Infinite Pantry has been in love with the Kamloops local food scene since moving here three years ago.
Her passion for food runs deep and there is nothing she enjoys more than cooking for her loved ones or hitting up her favourite local food joint. Her love of writing and photography, in true foodie fashion, revolves around food and drink.
Katherine will be dishing on all things food in The Empty Pantry, the newest column from KamloopsBCNow showcasing the tastiest, most mouth-watering eats and sips in Kamloops and recipes from her personal collection.
Check back tomorrow for the first installment and keep up with Katherine’s adventures on Instagram.
