Kamloops Highland Games 136th Annual Robbie Burns Dinner
The Kamloops Highland Games Society Proudly Presents: The 136th Annual Robbie Burns Dinner
(One of the longest-running Burns dinners in BC!)
Join us for an unforgettable evening celebrating Scottish culture, featuring a traditional roast beef dinner and performances by the award-winning Kamloops Pipe Band and Highland dancers. The festivities begin at 5:00 p.m. with cocktails and live entertainment, followed by a delicious dinner.
The evening will be filled with fantastic performances, from little ones as young as three up to adult national champion competitors. Guests will enjoy traditional Highland dances, from the ever-popular sword dance to the lively mass fling. To honour the legacy of Robbie Burns, the evening will also include traditional Burns toasts and the Ode to Robbie Burns, all before indulging in a hearty Scottish roast beef dinner complete with haggis, mashed potatoes, turnips, and a delightful selection of side dishes and desserts.
Following the meal, the Kamloops Pipe Band will take the stage for an inspiring performance. The evening continues with a live DJ spinning both new and classic hits—so bring your dancing shoes and join in the celebration!
Robbie Burns Night is a fundraising event, with all proceeds supporting the Kamloops Highland Games, held each July at Albert McGowan Park.
Tickets can be purchased in person at Our Footprints Eco Store & Refillery, located at 620-1055 Hillside Drive, Kamloops, or online. Don’t miss out on this incredible night of Scottish tradition and community spirit!
