1969-12-31 16:00:00 1969-12-31 16:00:00 America/Vancouver Kamloops Peace Festival This is the battle of the bands - the best headliner bands from BC and Alberta competing for a prize. Donations to the bands will be appreciated. This is an event to bring awareness to the crisis we are having with alienation of parents and children. To make people aware we are losing 600 lives per week in North America due to this crisis. Changes are needed and our guest speakers will talk about the challenges dealing with the Ministry and the courts. In order to keep costs down on our first annual event - people will have to bring their own tables, chairs, alcohol and supplies. We will have food vendors to purchase food if you require.  The cost is $75 per person - this includes parking and camping for the three days. Children under 12 are free. Campfires ok providing there are no local fire bans. Generators ok for rv's.  We welcome any alienation or fathers groups, bike or truck runs, First Nations, our American neighbors and families for this peaceful event.  This is a very economical and fun weekend for families to enjoy the musical talent Western Canada has to offer. We encourage everyone to come out to support this event. There will be pre-sales for tickets and you can reserve by emailing [email protected] or cash upon arrival at the gate. If you are a vendor or would like to sponsor this event, please send us an email. Kamloops Motor Cross Track Westsyde Rd, Kamloops BC [email protected]
