Healthy aging is important for everyone, and it is essential to remember the health of your brain as well!
This workshop encourages participants to actively engage in protecting and maintaining their brain. Learn strategies and set goals for improving the health of your mind, body and spirit. Discussion will include: what dementia might look like, how to support those with dementia, what is happening inside the brain. Anyone interested in brain health is welcome to attend. Presenter Tara Hildebrand is the Support and Education Coordinator for the Alzheimer Society of B.C.
Doors open at 6:30; lecture starts at 7:00pm. For older children and adults. Entry by donation. Refreshments provided. Contact 250-554-2572 or [email protected] for more information and to pre-register.
