Where are you from and how long have you lived in Kamloops?
I was born in Salvador, Brazi, but I have lived in Kamloops for 13 years.
Who is your favourite person to spend time with and why?
I love spending time with my kids, Tiego and Isabella. They are the best parts of me all bundled into one.
What is your favourite local store in Kamloops and why?
On the Rocks Pub. They have the coldest Budweiser in town!
Describe yourself in one word.
Committed.
If you could go anywhere in the world right at this moment where would you go and why?
I would go back to Cancun because I miss sailing.
What is your favourite activity in Kamloops?
Camping at North Barriere Resort.
What is the most embarrassing thing that has happened to you?
Asking a woman if she was pregnant when she was not!
What is the most inspiring thing that has happened to you?
My kids being born and watching them grow into such incredible people.
Tell us your favourite childhood memory.
Spending time on the farm with my family.
Where do you volunteer or give back to in the community?
KYSA soccer. I have been coaching for eight years.
If you could change one thing in the world what would it be?
Poverty.
Where would you sneak away to in Kamloops to spend some time alone?
My house — specifically my hot tub!
Where would you like to see positive change in Kamloops and why?
I would like to see people stop complaining because this city is a great place to be. I have travelled to a lot of places, and Kamloops has the greatest feeling of community that people often take for granted.
What do you think makes Kamloops great?
The people.
What are 3 things on your bucket list?
1. Be alive to see my grandchildren
2. Be able to see a better world
3. Drive a 911 Porsche Carrera 4S
What is the name of your business/organization?
Brazilian Dog Guru Facility.
What is the goal of your business?
To be able to help dogs and owners that need help to build that special bond.
What has been your biggest struggle either at work or in life?
Beating the odds, when the world is against me, I come out on top.
What do you always find yourself saying?
'Leave it!'

Be yourself.
Why do you think it is important to shop locally?
It’s important to me to keep revenue within the community in order for the community to thrive.
What has been your proudest accomplishment?
My children and my business.
