Who is your favourite person to spend time with and why?
My favourite person to spend time with is my boyfriend Colin, and our little fur baby Diesel!
What is your favourite local store in Penticton and why?
My favourite local store in Penticton is Lurtz and Co. because it's so different than any other store in town! Super stylish and AFFORDABLE which is what I'm all about.
Describe yourself in one word.
Weirdo.
If you could go anywhere in the world right at this moment where would you go and why?
I would love to go to Greece, the perfect mix of adventure and relaxation.
What is your favourite activity in Penticton?
The Penticton Farmers Market is my absolute favourite.
Where would you sneak away to in Penticton to spend some time alone?
Skaha Beach.
Where would you like to see positive change in Penticton and why?
My hometown in Hamilton revolves around art, music and food. I would love to see more of that come to life and be supported throughout the Penticton! Besides, where would we be without creators?
What do you think makes Penticton great?
The people make it great. The amount of love, support and friendliness I was shown when I moved here and knew no one, was incredible.

What is the name of your business/organization?
Through Thick and Twin.
Why did you get into/start this business?
My twin sister Shae and I started this blog as a way to share our experiences with each other as well as others as we live our lives on the opposite sides of the country.
What is the goal of your business?
Our goal for Through Thick and Twin is to share our ideas throughout Beauty, Lifestyle and Travel. We love sharing our experiences and giving tips to our readers to inspire them to try something new and live their best lives.
What has been your biggest struggle either at work or in life?
Probably the biggest struggle is living 4,000 km away from the co-creator of the blog! We've just had to up our communication skills.
If you could start all over again would you do things the same or would things be different?
Despite the struggles, I would never change a thing.
Tell us your best piece of life advice.
Not so much advice, but just a demonstration from my mom and dad. To just be happy! To live our best lives and be ourselves while we're at it.
Why do you think it is important to shop locally?
It's important to give back to the community! These shops put in so much effort to make something special for Penticton, it's only right to support that!
What has been your proudest accomplishment?
Honestly, my proudest accomplishment comes internally and mentally. Having happiness as my ultimate goal and pursuing that every day with whatever I do.

My sister, Shae Leung! Because she's my other half and she's almost as swell as me.

Moving to Penticton has been a whirlwind to say the least. I've met so many new and amazing people here. I've experienced some highs and some ultimate lows, but the amount that this city has to offer always gives you hope. No matter where we end up, Penticton will always have a place in our hearts.
