It's hard to blame some Americans these days for wishing they lived in the great white north.
There's plenty of turmoil all over the United States right now and this L.A. billboard suggesting that it's time to take some notes on the Canadian way is currently getting a lot of attention online.
The billboard reads “Let’s all get along like they do in canada” and it was put up by one of Canada's most popular exports Drake, who used it to promote his OVO clothing line.
While Drake's billboard is slightly more boastful than the true Canadian way, the peaceful nature of Canada is backed up by stats.
Canada was recently rated as the 8th most peaceful country in the world by the Global Peace Index.
The Global Peace Index measures "peace" based on a nation’s level of societal safety and security, the extent of ongoing domestic and international conflict, and the degree of militarisation.
So if sleepy ol' Canada is the 8th most peaceful country, who takes the top spot?
That accolade goes to Iceland, which is enjoying a very nice run as the most peaceful place on earth, earning the top spot every year since 2008.
