The third annual Amazon Prime day, featuring more than 140 “spotlight” deals in Canada, will kick off Monday afternoon.
Customers can save up to 40% on select Amazon devices such as Echo, as well as up to 30% on outdoor items like paddleboards. Up to 50% savings will be applied to select fashion items such as Ray-Bans and athleisure shoes.
The sudden slash on prices has been described as Black Friday in the summer, where online shoppers in 17 countries rush to score deals on the e-commerce giant.
However, there is one catch, shoppers must have an Amazon Prime membership, which customers can sign up for with a one month free trial followed by a $79.99 annual membership charge.
