VIDEO: Bear filmed grabbing woman while standing on back legs

Two videos showing a couple of very close encounters with black bears in Mexico have gone viral.

The first was captured in the Chipinque Ecological Park near Monterrey, the second in a nearby urban area.

Both videos were shared online by Angie Dondon.

In the first video, a bear can be seen approaching a woman on a trail.

At one point it jumps up and holds her, standing on its back legs.

It does it again – while the woman stays completely still and calm – before apparently losing interest and walking off.

In the second video, which is recorded in a street, the bear approaches another woman and grabs her legs – but doesn’t jump up.
