A fire rescue team near Atlanta, Ga. has released helmet-cam footage showing a courageous rescue of some occupants of a burning apartment building on Sunday night.

In the video, one firefighter pulls a child out of a third-storey apartment and drops them for another firefighter on the ground to catch.

According to the Dekalb County Fire Rescue Department, firefighters rescued 12 people from the building.

“Third generation DCFRD firefighter, Capt. Scott Stroup can be seen catching one of the children who was dropped from the third-floor balcony,” writes the department on Facebook.

“Great job by all hands operating on this fire as several life-saving grabs were made that night.”
