One Canadian restaurant chain is reaching out in hopes of partnering with one of the biggest in the biz.
Freshii has released an open letter to fast food giant Subway in hopes of working together to open more Freshii locations.
According to company founder and CEO Matthew Corrin, Subway has overextended their reach my opening a total of 44,000 restaurants globally and would instead be better off with about 30,000 locations.
“Let’s explore a partnership in which we together convert select Subway stores to Freshii restaurants in a quick, low-cost way. Let’s continue to change the way the world eats, together,” wrote Corrin. “Over time, we too will open thousands of Freshii restaurants around the world.”
Corrin says the conversion would cost around $75,000 on average with equipment included.
