Canadians everywhere are planning to pay respect to Captain Jennifer Casey as her body is set to return home to Halifax.
The Canadian Armed Forces have set up a live stream, which will show the ceremony for all those wanting to support this Sunday. The stream is set to follow a motorcade procession from Halifax Stanfield International Airport, through the city, and to the Atlantic Funeral Home.
At this point, the motorcade route has not been released, but the Canadian Armed Forces will have that information out in the near future.
In case you missed it, Captain Casey died when a CT-114 Tutor crashed into a Kamloops home during "Operation Inspiration." Residents from across the country flooded to social media and the Kamloops airport to show their respect to the fallen captain.
"It is important to note Capt Casey died trying to inspire people across the country to stay home, keep their distance, and stay safe while keeping their spirits high," wrote the RCAF. "At the request of Capt Casey’s family, spectators and participants are encouraged to respect physical distancing guidelines during the event. They have also asked participants and spectators to wear red and white, the official colours of the Snowbirds, to honour Capt Casey."
The live stream begins at 5 pm ADT. Those interested in viewing can learn more through here.
