Canadians will soon be doubling their chances of winning thanks to some changes coming to Lotto Max.
On Friday, Lotto Max announced that an additional weekly draw will be made every Tuesday along with the existing Friday Draw.
According to their website, the first draw will be made on May 14, 2019.
This second draw will allow players to see jackpots grow more quickly with the main jackpot reaching up to $70 million.
Individual $1 million Maxmillions will continue to be offered when the main jackpot reaches and exceeds $50 million.
Sales for the new Lotto Max will start on May 11, 2019, with the first draw taking place on May 14, 2019.
The odds of winning the main jackpot are one in 33,294,800 per $5 play.
