Just over a year after a BC Highway Patrol (BCHP) officer was injured during a traffic stop<\/a>, charges have been laid against the man accused of being responsible.<\/p> <\/p> The BC Prosecution Service has laid the following charges against 58-year-old Tobin Haas of Vancouver:<\/p> Assaulting a police officer with a weapon, section 270.1(1) of the Criminal Code.<\/li> Dangerous operation of a vehicle causing bodily harm, section 320.13(2) of the Criminal Code.<\/li> Resisting or obstructing a peace officer, section 129(a) of the Criminal Code.<\/li> Driving with a suspended driver’s licence, section 234(1) of the BC Motor Vehicle Act.<\/li> <\/ul> <\/p> According to the BCHP, Haas was pulled over on Hwy 91 near 72 Avenue in Delta around 10:30 am on Feb. 17, 2024.<\/p>\n\t\t\n\t\t
