A 30-year-old man was arrested after allegedly assaulting several employees at a Canadian Tire in Vancouver during an attempted robbery on Wednesday afternoon.<\/p>

Daniel Brandon Samuel Valleau has been charged with robbery, assault, two counts of assault with a weapon, assault causing bodily harm and breaching of release order.<\/p>

The Vancouver Police Department (VPD) says officers responded to the Canadian Tire near Marine Drive and Ontario Street around 3 pm after receiving a 911 call about the “violent assault.”<\/p>
